AYSO UNITED EXPANDS IN CENTRAL TEXAS

TORRANCE, CA – April 24, 2019 — AYSO United is excited to announce its footprint in Central Texas has taken a dramatic step forward. AYSO United Fredericksburg and Kerrville Crush Soccer Academy, have joined forces to form AYSO United Hill Country.

Pooling the resources of each club allows AYSO United Hill Country to build on the foundation of excellence already established by both Kerrville Crush and AYSO United. In addition to shared resources, the merger will expand the player pool of AYSO United Hill Country, improving the depth and expertise of its coaching staff, making AYSO United an even stronger voice for soccer in Central Texas.

“We fully believe the unification of both programs will enhance the professionalism, high quality coaching, and devotion to helping players develop and enhance their love of the game.  AYSO United and Kerrville Crush have experienced incredible successes and in teaming up we there will be greater opportunity for more players to be involved in competitive soccer,” says AYSO United Club Administrator, Dan Kemp

The merger was prompted by both organizations’ mutual desire to provide an exceptional soccer experience for youth players of all ages and abilities in both neighboring communities, keeping players at the center of their decision making.

“At the end of the day it is all about the kids and what is best for them, and their development. I am excited about the future of soccer in the Texas Hill Country. It has been my pleasure to work with AYSO United in this process and watch the excitement build for the future for Hill Country Soccer build,” stated Kerrville Crush President, Kevan Harris.

AYSO United Hill Country will begin its open tryout process next month allowing players from both communities to experience the game under AYSO core philosophies, while enjoying the benefits of being part of the AYSO United National Club Program.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for our AYSO United to attract a well-established club such as Kerrville Crush to join our club program. Both Dan and Kevan have shown that their commitment is to the player and they are driven to provide the best club experience possible for the players in both communities,” says AYSO United National Director, David Thomas.
