As part of a broader technology strategy by the parent company of both Sports Connect and PlayMetrics, we want to share an important update about the future of AYSO’s registration and club-management tools. The parent company has announced that the current Sports Connect and Association Platform will be sunset in 2027, and organizations using Sports Connect and the Association Platform will be transitioned to PlayMetrics Club and Governing System, their next-generation sports management systems.
AYSO conducted a review of available options, including functionality, long-term stability, user experience, mobile capability, and product roadmap. After that assessment, we agreed that PlayMetrics aligns with the needs of our Regions, volunteers, and families—and represents the modern, intuitive platform our community has been asking for.
