Becoming A Referee Admin
Become A Volunteer
The Referee Administrator tracks, trains, schedules and supports the Region’s referees, and maintains the AYSO National Referee Program. The game is not the same without a referee to call the shots. The parents, coaches and athletes all depend on the referees to make the competition safe and fair. The Referee Administrator helps make sure every child has a great experience.
AYSO’s volunteer referees have an important responsibility to the kids on the field as a model of sportsmanship, soccer knowledge and interpreter of the Laws of the Game. Those referees need leadership of their own. The job of Referee Administrator requires proper referee training and certification, management skills, a background check and an understanding of the needs of the Region.
If you are a referee ready to take on this important volunteer position, contact your Regional Commissioner.
