What to Do if a Volunteer is Arrested for a Crime
If a volunteer is either arrested or indicted of a crime that if convicted of that crime, would result in either a restriction from a current position or disqualification from volunteering, AYSO's Safe Haven Policy states that the volunteer must be asked to step aside from their position or resign pending the outcome of the case. If they refuse to, they should be suspended pending the outcome.
Please notify AYSO's Safe Haven Department
of the arrest or indictment of any volunteer.
