Jim Liston



Jim ListonJim is the founder of CATZ and one of the country's leading experts on creating and delivering exercise programs for children that inspire them to embrace the benefits of physical activity. Jim is also the strength and conditioning coach for MLS’ Chivas USA and has been a featured speaker on these topics to organizations such as the American Physical Therapy Association; National Strength and Conditioning Association; the California Parks and Recreation Society; the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD); and AYSO.

Jim has been featured as an expert on training youth athletes in The New York Times, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Newsweek, Business Week, and Men’s Health. He presently serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Clinical Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California.

Jim holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters in Health Science from Springfield College. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 1995.
