Major League Soccer’s Seattle Sounders FC Head Coach, Sigi Schmid, has coached many of soccers greatest players and believes that one of the greatest strengths a player can develop is the ability to focus on the “next play”. He emphazises to his players that “It dosen’t matter what just happened; the next play is the most important thing now.” Brushing off mistakes and accentuating the positive is a fundamental principle of Responsible Coaching.

In this podcast, Sigi shares his experiences spanning his soccer career that began as a player, in the inagural AYSO season, and his career that continues today as a professional head coach.
